Description: The book has some significant flaws. Front spine edge is mostly split, just hanging on, rear one partially split, fist endpaper and title page detached but present. Inside front cover is private stamp, title page at top has previous owner name and date, (Major King, U.S. Engineer Corps, 1871). Some foxing at and near the endpapers, contents are clean and unmarked. Cover gilt still nice. Boards pretty clean but some mild edgewear nad previously mentioned spine tears.
