Description: HP ProLiant MicroServer Gen8 tested and working. It has a fresh install of Windows 10 without a key mostly so it'll work out of the box when it's received. (And I've been using it to format drives and wanted a user friendly OS.) Windows server 2022 might be more appropriate, but you can use the Win 10 or put some other lighter OS on it. It's a cube shaped server about 10x10x10 inches. Recommended use case is running something storage oriented 24/7 quietly and energy efficiently, like a plex server, low spec game server, maybe a website, or anything where the 4 slide in drive bays are handy like HDD reformatting like I've been using it for. I haven't been able to get the raid config screen to open, so a non-raid setup is recommended. (RAID is setting up 2+ drives in parallel so each is an exact copy of the other in case one dies.) You can pick up some 4 TB drives for around $50 or 8 TB for around $100 and just screw the bracket onto them and slide them in, so you can easily expand it to have a huge storage capacity really easily. Side note: If you want it to come with additional hard drives I can install an additional 4 TB drive for $40, up to 3. Or a 8 TB drive for $90. (I only have one and it was $240 new).
