NO swollen capacitors. HDD was Low Level Formatted and all sectors were tested to ensure full working condition. Freshly recovered to Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-Bit (ENGLISH) from recovery discs. ***READ IMPORTANT NOTES BELOW*** Will boot to the Vista Welcome Screen and initial setup. No updates were installed, other than what is already bundled on the recovery discs. --------------------- ***IMPORTANT NOTES*** Recovery disks used for this computer are from a slightly different computer model (A6720f). This means you may/will encounter the following issues: - Purple Code after a full factory reset from recovery partition (basically a failure to match the recovered OS and the hardware) which can be circumvented quite easily by adding a line at the beginning of the CHECKDMI.CMD file. We can supply precise information on what needs to be done, but will not help to do it. Purple Code is already fixed for the current setup, but will reappear each time the system is recovered from HP Partition. - CPU recognized as AMD Phenom X4 9550 in the Processors subsection of the Device Manager. The solution is to delete all CPUs one by one, rebooting after each deletion, until all are detected as 9150e. - Model shown in System is A6720f. - All other devices/peripheral are correctly detected by Windows. ***IMPORTANT NOTES*** --------------------- DVD-RW has been tested. BIOS has been updated to v5.29. Recovery Partition is present.
