Houston Llew Spiritile - #110 - Grade School -RETIRED

Description: UP FOR SALE ! Just a lovely tile from Houston Lllew, "... but to us we're still in grade school". This version of this retired tile is slightly different from most of the versions I see. It has a black balloon instead of red and the tile number and title are handwritten in gold ink. I cannot find any reference to why. I've had one collector mention that earlier tiles had handwritten titles. It is in very nice condition, the standard crackling across the front, there is a scratch on the back on the title as if someone had trouble finding the nail to hang it, a little bit of sticker residue from a previous price tag on the back lower left, all pictured.
