Description: HORNET .60 MODEL ENGINE, AERO VERSION, COLLECTABLE, manuf. circa 1947, #V561 Based on the serial number, this engine was manufactured in the early post-war years by the Victory Tool & Die Corporation, in either late 1946 to 1947. It still has remarkable compression and is in beautiful shape. I have no doubt that with the addition of a compatible needle valve and proper ignition coil and battery it would fire right up. Even though I believe this to be true, it is being offered as a collectible only.
