The sammelband, each reprinted from "The Auk", includes the following titles: "The Mockingbird in the Boston Regions, and in New England and Canada" (pp 382-432, 1921); "Morning Awakening and Even-Song", two papers (pp. 307-327, 1912 and pp. 511-537, 1913) - both INSCRIBED by author; "A Nesting of the Blue-Winged Warbler in Massachusetts" (pp 337-345, 1909) - INSCRIBED and "Some Rare Wild Ducks Wintering at Boston, Massachusetts, 1909-1910" (pp 390-408 + 2 plates, 1910) - INSCRIBED. His careful observations of New England birds were often (as here) recorded in various publications including "The Auk" (the organ of the American Ornithologists' Union).The collection was probably assembled by George Lyman Hinckley (a Masschusetts librarian) to whom these are inscribed.
