Honey-brown polished violin, slightly used, good condition

Description: Marilyn the violin (I somewhat tuned it recently) and has suffered neglect due to an absence of orchestras during my high school years. She is yearning for a loving and devoted place to call home. Slightly out of tune, (my hands aren't strong enough to push the pegs deep enough) it comes with a cloth, tuner/metronome, chin rest, bow, and rosin. Good quality violin with clear and resonant sound. Slightly damage near bottom of bow but nothing too serious. Enough rosin to last you years. Finger tape for 1st, 3rd, and 4th finger remain on it but you can take it off if you so desire. The inside of the case is made of velvet and has small pocket for cloth and rosin. Can hold two bows but I only own one. There is also a pocket on the outside of violin for papers or chin rest. (chin rest can still fit inside) One of the stubs of the case broke off so beware of small screw sticking out. FOR BEGINNERS: I would advise against touching the pegs unless under the supervision of an instructor. Strings are cheap to replace but breaking them can still be inconvenient, especially if you have class the next day. Twist the knobs at the bottom of the string to tune it. (they're called fine tuners for fine tuning) You can play the violin without the chin rest (technically) but that would hurt so just snugly slid it on. Don't touch the hair of the bow with your hands. The oil on your fingers will cause it to lose the friction required to make sound. You can twist the bottom of the bow to make the strings looser or tighter. When holding either the instrument or the case, handle with care. Treat it as gently as you would a baby. Feel free to give her a new name. (although it is indisputable that she is a she)WHILE TRAVELING: BEWARE! The instrument is made of wood so temperature can change the sound of it. If in extreme temperature for long, extreme tuning might be needed. So try to keep it at room temperature for as much as possible.
