Description: This is a nice, original Holiday January 1896 issue of Outing's Monthly Review of Amateur Sports and Pastimes. Copyright 1896 by the Outing Publishing Company. An American magazine covering a variety of sporting activities. It began publication in 1882 as the Wheelman "an illustrated magazine of cycling literature and news" and had four title changes before ceasing publication in 1923. It was based in Boston. Measures 7" x 10.25" and contains 78 pages of articles as well as 44 pages of advertising at beginning and end. There is some mild surface discoloration and some wear at edges, some tiny tears to covers and spine, small amount of material loss at spine. A slight musty smell.
