Description: Marx F3 New York Central locomotive, in good condition. This model features band drive similar to Athearn's High F drive, but having bevel gears in the trucks driven by the bands. The Athearn replacement bands work fine on this. This runs smooth, quiet, and is fast. I tried to get a good shot of the drive on the trucks. This is the first Marx of this design I've seen. Also included in this is a Marx New York Central Caboose. Both the Locomotive and caboose have Marx Dummy knuckle couplers installed, that look original to the locomotive, and at least one end of the caboose.( the caboose has a horn hook coupler on 1 end) Please see the pictures.
