Customer stated that there were small broken parts inside the humidifier. The customer unpacked the item, but never put water in it or tried it out. She heard the noise the Wheatstone filter stones were making and just wanted to return it. Can't say I blame her, I too thought there was an issue until I investigated it further. It was then I just put in the showcase and used as our demo. Months later, I thought I'd actually read the manual, and I found the above information about the Wheatstone Stones in quotation marks in the manual. That info is included in the photos. Those filter stones are integrated into the design of the humidifier. They are NOT accessible, they are NOT replaceable, and according to the manufacturer, they are NOT a sign of a damaged, defective or broken unit. The problem I have is I can't test the item WITHOUT WATER. I was told the humidifier is designed to only work with water in it. I don't want to test the unit by putting water in the unit, and then ship it with water residue inside the machine that can cause mold issues. SO, I'm offering it as AS-IS, PARTS OR REPAIRS.
