Description: Rare original antique issue of Part 29-30 of, "History of the War for the Union, Civil, Military and Naval." The different parts of this title were issued over a period of time to the subscriber with the presumption that they would later bind all the parts together. Usually, as in this case, the text of the issues began and ended midsentence. The issue is overall in very good condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. It is undated but circa sometime around the 1860's-1870's. It is softcover in its original wrappers. The covers have some light wear. The binding is good and sound. The interior is lightly toned from age but is mostly nice and clean, though there may be the very occasional page with some kind of minor imperfection such as a light bit of foxing, soiling, or grubbiness, creased page corner, tiny chip or tear, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The issue measures approximately 11 inches by 8 3/4 inches with the pagination running from pages 165-212. It is illustrated with 2 black and white plates. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
