The ambitious program, entitled "Two Centuries of Catholicism," combined a Bruckner symphony and a Messiaen work for each performance. The Maestro's enthusiasm was extraordinary, and his interpretation deepened and perfected with each performance, resulting in a recording of the complete Bruckner cycle that will go down in Japanese performance history. In 2020, ALTUS released the complete works on CD for the first time, and it became a hot topic, winning a special prize in "Record Geijutsu" magazine.
