This is a great art deco bottle, with great graphics. It features a hippo embossed on both sides of the shoulder. Hippo Size Soda claimed to have the "Biggest Bottle for only 5¢". Coca Cola had the 6 1/2 oz. for a nickel, and Pepsi had the 12 oz. bottle for 5¢. This bottle was bottled by Alamo Bottling Works of San Antonio, Texas. This bottle has a patent date of Nov.2, 1926. This 13 oz. bottle has great embossed lettering and 2 hippos, one on each side. The bottle has absolutely no chips or cracks.
