Description: A Stunning Highly Detailed Antique/ Vintage Large Japanese Moriage Lamp Base I was told that it had been converted into a lamp from a vase but I'm not an expert in Asian antiques, so you decide if that's the case. I'm selling it as a lamp base. It's in great condition - no chips or cracks, but has loss of gilding throughout, as expected with age. PLEASE NOTE: Although the photos show that the lamp works as-is, they also clearly show that the lamp needs PLUG REPLACEMENT. It is not to the current safety standards.
