They are made of a slightly heavier grade of Tyvek, which will hold up better to repeated use and cleaning and ours feature a more flexible clear window that will make less of the snapping noise that can irritate the test subject. They feature a stronger tie cord made of parachute cord, and are sewn with the seam on the inside for a more professional, finished look. One customer reported many hundreds of uses and cleaning cycles on our hoods. With proper care they should give you the same performance and durability.
