Anything cut to order is non-returnable.** Premium hardened steel rail excellent for your automation project, and a definite step up from 8mm rod commonly used on 3D printers (and is generally easier to work with as well). Available bearing blocks provide simple, durable, and precise mounting solutions. We offer both wide and standard widths. "Standard" bearing blocks model: HGH15CA "Wide" bearing blocks model: HGW15CC The plastic spacer inside the bearing block should be pushed out by the rail as you install it onto the rail; removing this spacer prior to installation on the rail can cause bearings to be lost. We suggest that you wipe the rails down with mineral spirits to remove any protective rust-inhibiting coating before either mounting the rails or installing the bearings on the rails. We are also able to do custom cuts (1500mm is the longest length we stock), so for example we could cut you a couple 800mm sections. The price will be higher if it requires cutting 2 stock rail sections; 2 740mm rails will be a good bit cheaper than 2 760mm rails, because the slightly shorter lengths can be cut from one single 1500mm rail.
