Description: Heuer Mareographeref. 3461st exec, early serial No Vintage 1952- 54 regatta/sailing Chronograph with Valjoux 71 movement Extremely rare pre-Carrera Heuer Mareographe, offered also by Abercombie&Fitch under Seafarer name.Heuer branded version, for non US markets was obviously a much more rare timepiece.It's powered by a modified valjoux 71 movement with additional.functions:- tidal indication- regatta countdown.It's housed in large 37.5mm stainless steel case with round pushers. More common A&F Seafarer piece sold recently at Phillips for over $40K. This one is in original, untouched condition, serviced in April.2024 and is available for significantly less than sold by Phillips.
