Description: Presenting Heraldic an 1847 Rogers Dinner Flatware Service for Four, no monogram, a set of 12 pcs. The Holy Grail so to speak of American Silverplate representing the American Arts and Crafts movement. Because of the style of the Makers Mark I think this is 1920's set but cannot confirm at this time. 9" Dinner knives are very well balanced with perfect blades, slim for use with fine china. Dinner fork is elegant and well balanced. This set is in Excellent to near mint condition, but shows lots of light scuffing utensil scratches on ends which could be buffed out. Handles have never been over polished and detail on hammering and embossed Urn is exquisitely preserved and clear. See sterling thickness on back of salad fork. Look at photos carefully! When matching a set it is important to polish with the same polish so I have not polished this but will if requested. I will include two of the original Shreve and Co, San Franscisco purple sleeves for the salad Forks and the Tea spoons.
