Schmidt" Iron bar measures 3 1/4" x 2" x 3/4", 1 lb. 7 oz. Shows a little rust, no damage and the words are all very legible. The family story is that when the old brewery was demolished, Christian's sons Edward, Henry and Frederick has these paperweights made for each of them from the iron in the building.
