Description: This 26 inch No 7 saw has a Disston medallion dated on the Disstonian from the late 1850's, the inchworm die stamp is attributed to the 1850's. The plate has a slight bow and needs jointed but I think a decent saw Dr could make it run again. Not a ton of pre Civil war American made tools to be had out there anymore. For information on old tools the resources at Mid West Tool Collectors Association are top notch. They have links collected there for everything antique tool related.https://mwtca.org/useful-reference/ Make sure to check out my other items, I will combine shipping just wait for the invoice. I am in a selling mood, it's not Christmas yet but schit has to go, offers is set to let me see offers that I don't think I'll take, might change my mind..........
