Hello Hollywood, Hello! was a huge success in Reno when it debuted in 1978 and proceeded to run for 11 years. This program is in very good condition and has been stored in a smoker free environment. There is some light wrinkles and creases along with some smudges on the glossy front and back covers. The elaborate cabaret production by Donn Arden debuted in 1978 at what was then the MGM Grand Hotel and continued for 11 years. It had a cast of more than 100 who came from all over the world, a set that included an airplane that could accommodate six showgirls on each wing, a full band, classically trained singers and accomplished dancers. “Hello Hollywood, Hello!” played to nearly 7 million people from 1978 to 1989, when Bally’s, which had taken over ownership of the MGM, made the call to end the show.
