Description: Very cute French Telephone Toy/AM Transistor Radio, Vintage 1967 by Hedaya & Co. This is a preowned, used item. I had this in my room as a young girl. This is a miniature replica of a French phone. Please note it is not a working phone, it is a small vintage toy/radio. Measures approximately 6.5 inches high, 6 inches wide, and 4 inches deep. The surface has several wear marks, smudges and discolorations. The colored portions have faded and the gold colored areas are worn and scratched. This item has been gently surfaced cleaned. A buyer familiar with vintage toys/radios may be able to spruce it up further. Uses one 9V battery. I was able to tune into an AM station but could only hear faint voices and mostly static. Someone familiar with old radios may be able to get this to function properly. If not, it’s essentially a toy or decoration. The phone handle originally had a faux cord but that is now missing. One of the metal prongs holding the phone handle is bent slightly. Please review all pictures and make your purchase decision carefully keeping in mind this is a vintage item that is over 55 years old, has flaws, and does not function properly as an AM transistor radio.
