The music score was by Manos Hadjidakis. The Man With the Golden Arm was a 1955 drama film noir directed by Otto Preminger, based on the novel of the same name by Nelson Algren. Starring Frank Sinatra, Eleanor Parker, Kim Novak, Arnold Stang and Darren McGavin. The music by Elmer Bernstein was nominated for an academy award and is considered one of the finest jazz soundtracks to come out of the '50s. Take a listen to a little of each. Cut-out.
