Description: c.1920s occasionally played with steam powered wooden model or pond boat, Dixie Flyer”.Has original plaques on the engine marked: H. E. BOUCHER MFG. CO. N.Y. U.S.A.Pressure gauge dial also marked H. E. BOUCHER N. Y. Alligatored paint on top surface.Blue white red and gold paint to sides. On wooden stand. Approx. 37" L x 9 1/2" W x 9 1/2" H.Have been selling antiques, English and American shipbuilders models, fine clocks, fine paintings, the number one thing is original condition this lovely model has that, till the next owner can make that decision. There is one thing that appears to be missing and that is the tiller arm, the rudder looks operable, but the metal parts look to have the correct age to them. The starboard side of the model has quite a few chips to the paintwork.I am definitely not a mechanical expert, but patina and condition wise this model is about as good as you will see.
