Description: You are looking at a gently handled vintage 1997 HAWLEY CELEBRATION 1872 - 1997125 YearsHawley, MN - July 11-12-13 Birthplace of the Hjemkomst clear glass commemorative plate, made by Libbey Duratuff in the USA. Features red lettering in the middle along with an illustration that represents the sail of the handmade full-size "Hjemkomst" Viking ship built by Robert Asp and sailed from Duluth, MN to Bergen, Norway in 1982. Plate is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks, and all the lettering is intact and in excellent condition, just with surface scuffs on the back/bottom, mostly on the right side next to the word "Celebration"--see photos. Measures 9 3/8" in diameter.
