HAWK "Tigerriffic" Purple/Gold/Orange Alto Sax w/Case/Yamaha Mpc.- It's Grrreat!

Description: Custom HAWK "Tigerriffic" Alto Sax with Case and Yamaha 4C Mouthpiece. Sax Serial #1206102. Although I'm a solid Gamecock here in Columbia, SC, our upstate rivals, the Clemson Tigers have shown alot of grit and spirit through the years. So I decided to honor them by customizing a purple Hawk alto sax with choice orange (hard to find) decals, pin striping, and touches of orange fluorescent paint (I graduated from USC in Art Studio in '76). It was a fun project to do. The sax itself is in great shape: Pads, corking, and felts are all grrreat and the springs show quick response. There are no dents/dings, and very little, if any, scuffs or scratches. There was a little paint chipping that has now been repaired. I was very happy to find a Hawk purple alto sax to operate on - I believe Hawk is the best when it comes to colored lacquered saxophones. The case is a generic polyfoam storage unit that will not last a long time, but is great for shipping and temporary use. All hardware on the case still functions and it's clean. Included with the case are a new microfiber polishing cloth, a black plastic end plug, a nice black neck strap, some extra decals, and the Yamaha 4C mouthpiece w/leather ligature, cap, and new Rico Plasticover reed.Good Luck Bidding!
