Description: Offered is a Haviland Limoges 3-Piece Butter Dish in a pattern catalogued as Schleiger 270-A. The pattern features transfers of small deep pink rose garlands on the edge. The base is 7 7/8" across at the handles; 7 1/8" otherwise. The insert is 4 5/8" across; the dome opening is 5 1/2". The butter employs the Star Blank with a double gold edge. There is one chip on the base as imaged. No other chips or cracks; the gold is in very good condition. The whiteware mark is the green Haviland France; the brick red decorator mark is Haviland & Co.
