Description: Campaign style hat with gold band printing: OFFICIAL LEADERS HAT, Boy Scouts of Canada. Please study photos. Size tag show only 1/8. On my 7 1/4 head the hat fits light/firm, perhaps goes to 7 3/8 head. Color actually looks right; the pics are with and without a flash, hence variations. Note the Quixotic notch on the rear rim. This was made when running away from from a slightly slower wolf that snapped off a slight bite. ;-) ;-) A rounding of the edge with an always-sharp Scout knife is in order. No outside band, but I include a leather strap that I think would go well with the hat. I see one weeny moth bite on the back; or perhaps it was that pesky wolf snap!?As an aside, and with pride, I mention that my dad started the Boy Scouts movement in Mexico City in 1943, and it has spread throughout Latin America since. Cub Scouts (Mom was a Den Mother), Sea Scouts and Explorers blossomed from that. Be prepared!
