Description: This model H-139 Harrison heater has been completely disassembled, bead blasted, and painted. The coil has been cleaned, pressure checked, and painted. The motor has been disassembled, clean and lubed, and new motor wire installed and painted. This is the original 6-volt motor. If you want to run this heater on 12 volts you will need to purchase a resistor for each motor which cost about $16. Speedway Motors sells this resistor their part number is 910-64102. Back in the 30s, 40s, and 50s the normal pressure on a vehicle radiator system was less than 12 psi. These heater coils have been pressure checked at 15 psi. Many cars of today run with 16 psi and higher radiator pressure caps. I suggest you make sure your radiator cap is no more than 12 psi. These heater coils were not designed to operate at any high pressure than this. The H-139 provides 25% less heat than the larger H-140 that I have listed. The H-139 was promoted to be installed in coupes and pickup trucks and more southern climates. The H-140 was promoted to be installed in the sedans and 4 door cars and any vehicle that was in the northern USA where the winters were colder. This model of heater was made from 1940 to 1941. It was used on all makes and models of Chevrolet cars and trucks. If you want a defrost blower to go with this heater I have them available for $129. I provide a 60-day guarantee, if you are not happy with this heater you can return it to me for a full original refund (including original shipping) within 60 days of receiving the heater. (Buyer pays return shipping). Checkout the other Harrison heaters I have listed.
