Description: Back story, the glove box spring on my 2003 Anniversary road glide broke. Harley made it out of carbon steel which rusts over time. I went to my local Harley dealer and they pulled up the microfiche and it showed the spring but there was no part number in their system to order just the spring. The only way was to buy the entire glove box assembly which was $189 plus tax. All I needed was the spring but there was no other way to get it. So I purchased the entire glove box assembly and reverse engineered the spring. But instead of making it out of carbon steel I had it made from SS303 surgical grade stainless steel. Now it will never rust.
