Hailing from Westlake, Ohio, Hank Haller is a famed vocalist and bandleader known for his oompah-pah polka music and “leder-hosen” short leather pants. He has recorded over seventy albums and three videos, with over one quarter of a mullion albums sold. In addition, Haller is steeped in the Oberkrainer music of Slavko and Vilko Avsenik of Slovenia and Cleveland style polkas. He has recorded many albums with both Slovenian and English lyrics. For 30 years, Haller was joined on stage by his wife Maryanne and vocalists Jerry Krocek and Ken Umeck. This release features authentic Slovak, Carpatho-Rusyn, Bohemian, Czech and Austrian music.
