I did this to allow for more "therapeutic" pain/ illness management. Magnetic beads are believe to help with chronic pain and blood circulation. Many customers that have worn my magnetic jewelry have testified to this. I, however, am not in any chronic pain so I cannot say whether this is actually true or not. The "hematite" that is used in jewelry making is actually a simulated hematite - a manmade material referred to as "hemalyke".
