Description: I believe this leather is called deer tanned cowhide. It's definitely cowhide, but it feels more like deerhide. I make these completely by hand. The edge of the flap is the edge of the hide itself. The leather is 4-5 oz. My bags are made to take heavy use. The Hershey's bar is for color reference only. About 8.5" deep x 9" wide with a 3" wraparound side gusset and an elk antler button and leather lace closure. I put metal beads on the thread behind the button to prevent wearing out the stitching and losing the button. There are 4 pockets total, inside and out. The front pockets are 4"x 6.5", and the back pockets are 4" x 7". The shoulder strap is 2" wide x70" long and adjustable with beaded leather lace ties. I will be happy to adjust the length of the strap at no charge prior to shipping. I can stitch the strap to the back of the bag on request, no charge. I can add a 2" x 2" starter sleeve on request, no charge. Just message me with the exact location you want. The seams are 140 lb test, double stitched with 70 lb artificial sinew, knots are melted together. I give a lifetime warranty on my seams, free repair if it ever comes loose.
