Often referred to as one of his signature designs, this wax-resist wave vessel is a spectacular combination of color and design.” “I hand-throw this piece on the wheel. I then meticulously brush the wax resist design on the surface of the vessel. The piece is then bisque fired to cone 04 (1944 degrees). I then brush on the glazes with a layered technique on the surface of the vessel and apply a stunning blue glaze to the interior. A final glaze firing to cone 06 (1826 degrees) and the piece is complete.”
