Description: This is a complete set of all 16 volumes of The Handbook of Middle American Indians. There is an Ex Libris bookplate attached to the front endpaper of each volume with the name of the original and sole owner (Dr. B. K. Swartz, Jr.). Dr. Swartz was my father, and he took very good care of his books, so these haven’t been marked up or highlighted or had anything clipped out. Unfortunately, he also disliked dust jackets, and the first thing he would do upon acquiring a new book was to toss its dust jacket into the trash. These volumes have all been liberated of their dust jackets. Other than that, they are in very good condition with a bit of shelf wear. Some of them are a little dinged up, especially on the corners, and there are a few scratches here and there. See photos for condition, and feel free to contact me with any questions.
