Description: One of a kind hand spun skein of yarn from a 100% Jacob sheep wool fiber. There is one skein of 250 yards in 2 ply. The yarn is Aran weight at 10 WPI. Most will tolerate it next to skin, if you normally wear wool. It is natural color with three tones of grey brown light, medium and dark. It will knit into warm hats, mittens or scarves. This yarn was spun by me. I have been spinning yarns for years and am known on the internet as Yarnspinnerstales. If you have not ever knit with hand spun yarn, it is a wonderful experience that every knitter should try. Please note, if this yarn is not enough for your project, hand spun yarn does work fine when combined with commercial yarn of the same thickness. This yarn is washed, and your final item should be hand washed and laid out to dry. The yarns will ship best as a skein but if you prefer it, can be wound into a balls.
