Hand Made American Songbird Birds Country Cottage Patchwork Quilt 92"x79" F/Q

Description: Patchwork quilt made using the Cranston Print Works American Songbird 8-bird panel. Both black thread and some sort of monofilament thread were used. It appears handmade on a machine rather than commercially produced but I can't prove it. Not a quilt expert. Measures 92" long x 79". In the photos, it is on a Queen size mattress and has some drop on each side. Also fits a Full. The bottom end has curved corners while the top has squared corners. Quilt weighs slightly over 7 lbs. The songbird rectangles are 7.5" x 6". They are bordered by strips of solid medium gray and a medium blue fabric with a faint floral pattern. The bird rectangles are sewn over a white fabric with pale yellow and green floral design so you can sort of see the shadow of those colors under the bird rectangles. The reverse is dark blue background with small light blue, rose, and gold flowers with green leaves. That fabric also edges the face of the quilt. Birds are: Baltimore Oriole, American Robin, Black-Capped Chickadee, Cardinal, Bluebird, American Goldfinch, Meadowlark, and Mockingbird. Condition is very good. It has been washed and used. No stains. No flaws other than listed below: In one horizontal gray/blue row, there are two places where fabric has come unstitched. See photo 16 for that row and photos 17, 18, and 19 for closeups.Stitching a little loose in a few places - see photo 20 for example.One place on bottom edging has come undone - see photo 21.Corner wear - see photo 22.Uncut threads on back in a few places.Please let me know if any questions.
