Likely published by Antione Verard with woodcut by Philippe Pigouchet. The woodcut is similar to one found in a book of hours sold by Christies in April of 2021. Above the figure's head is the sun, which rules the stomach. To the right (clockwise) is Venus, which rules the kidneys. Next Jupiter, the liver and last Saturn, the spleen. Likewise, characters in each of the four corners represents a different temperament (sanguine, melancholic, choleric and phlegmatic) and is associated with each humor (blood, phlegm, yellow bile and black bile). Verso: Two columns of lettre batarde script in black ink.
