Wonderfully painted in multiple colors and finished with a glossy varnish.Purchased at estate sale with many international items. Looks to be Russian and made of wood. Similar ones are posted online and described as being hand carved and hand painted by artists in Moscow.There is a ring on his head so he could be used for a holiday tree ornament. Excellent vintage/used condition. No chips, cracks, repairs or crazing detected.
