Description: 1908 Hanau Solid Sterling Silver Chester Import by Berthold Muller Highly Decorative Cupid & Cherub Tea Strainer. Made in Germany by L. Neresheimer and Co.Originally B Neresheimer and Sohne. Germany. Assayed Chester, 1908 by sponsor Berthold Muller. Stunning little tea strainer, highly decorative with cupid and his bow to the handle. To each side there are two more cherubs, one looks to be pouring wine, whilst the other appears to have a spear, there are musical instruments above them. Below is a bearded horned ram, quite the conversation piece! Presented in very good pre-loved and used antique condition with minor softening to raised relief noted.
