Description: Gorgeous tea pot and lid by Hammersley China, England in a Scottish Thistle designon a white translucent bone china base. This lovely design has an embossed thistleflower and leaf pattern on the lid, spout and handle, while the squat round body has apetal design with a tall stem neck. This pretty teapot stands about 7 1/2 inches tall withlid, 8 1/2 inches wide from handle to spout and has a capacity (to top) of four cups.The condition is beautiful without any cracks, scratches or staining, the only flaw I couldfind was a tiny "flea bite" chip on the spout, see last two photos.
