The pedestal base seems to be some type of molded material probably a resin of some type. Inside the glass globe an angry black cat is perched on top of a happy Jack-O-Lantern! The globe has black flecks inside for the "snow" rather than the normal white flecks. This makes it a great play on the classic snowglobe by revamping it for Halloween! See last 5 pics for an example of the "evil-snow" as it swirls around inside! Measures roughly 8.75" tall and weighs almost 2 lbs. by itself! This is a hefty piece!
