Description: Hallmark 2001 Gee Bee R-1 Super Sportster - Airplane Replica - Limited Edition QHA1015 I know very little about airplanes other than my son-in-law is an F-35 Flight Instructor. This is not an F-35. What this is, is "cool". This thing can sit on a shelf, desk or table by itself (it is NOT an ornament), or it can be mounted on it's pedestal base unit and you can watch its propeller spin when you push the button on the base unit. (Uses 1 - AAA battery, not included. Works/Tested) "Like NEW". Shows ZERO signs of use or display. Box is in EXCELLENT condition. I think it had a brochure included originally. Brochure now missing. Son-in-law doesn't want it. It doesn't go fast enough for him. Limited Edition # 3,416 of 12,500 run quantity. The airplane is metal. the base unit is plastic.
