Description: Pictured is an early stoneware whiskey jug available for sale. The jug is stenciled in black "M. Salzman Co. - PURITY ABOVE ALL". Morris Salzman was a successful business man operating saloons in downtown Brooklyn & later in Buffalo, New York from 1905 - 1915. He subsequently purchased the Empire Distillery & promoted several brands of whiskey including the above. The jug measures 8 3/4" in height & is in excellent condition with no nicks, damage or repairs whatsoever. A clean example.....
