More than 200 different books were published with the imprint “H. E. Howard, Inc., Lynchburg, Virginia.” Most, if not all, were printed by J. P. Bell of Lynchburg, Virginia. I have many of his Regimental Histories Series listed on my e-bay site. Collecting them is addictive and very rewarding. Mr. Howard also published very special books commemorating individual battles, campaigns and events. These were published with a blue cloth hardback cover and were issued without dust jackets.
