H DISSTON & SONS Largest Made Hand Saw 36 in 4 ppi No 7 rip saw

Description: This saw is a beast! a full 36 inches of plate, I count 4 ppi as in an inch from the first tooth point to the fourth tooth point. They made larger handsaws for advertising but not as a regular catalog item. I've run across 30 inchers fairly regularly, saw a 32 incher once, this is the only 36 incher I have heard of, that said I hope to hear from those that have them, I'll add responses to the questions sections when I get them. The plate is straight, hard to hold it still enough to sight down the teeth but looks straight to me. The patina is deep and dark, I swear I have seen the etch under it in the right light as I recall measuring it for center when I acquired the saw, it was in the proper location but I sure can't get it to show itself now. Only after looking at one of the pictures on the screen did I see what might be a 7. I'm sure it would reveal itself with some cleaning but I always liked the nice original finish, looks to have been hanging in a barn since timber frame building stopped being a thing. One of those get it when you see it items, make this big dog yours. UPDATE; After several months listed I have yet to hear from anyone on another sighting of a handsaw this large, anyone out there?
