Description: From my personal collection, purchased new at a a former Pittsburgh Department Store ca. mid 1980's, and displayed in an enclosed cabinet, smoke-free home. All four handmade and hand painted in the U.S.S.R. and accompanied with paperwork received at point-of-sale. They are : 1. 5 3/4" l. x 2 1/2" w. x 1 1/4" h. rectangular lidded box ; signed on front lid bottom ; Made in U.S.S.R. on back; four "balled feet" on bottom ; paperwork included ; heavy lacquer is faded on one end / bottom of the box. 2. Small oval lidded box 3 1/2" l. x 1 3/4"w. x 1"h.; signed on bottom plus includes U.S.S.R. sticker and paperwork ; a few very light "scuff marks" noticeable when box is turned into the light. 3. 3 1/4"h. x 2 3/4"w. on 3" square base attached lidded box ; U.S.S.R. sticker on bottom plus paperwork ; signed on front ( very difficult to read, but it is there ). 4. 3 1/2" round lidded box ; 1 1/2" h.; bottom reads Made in U.S.S.R. and is signed.
