The Griddle Plate is used for all types of cooking, when barbecuing “in the true sense”, with the lid up. This includes cooking steaks, chops, kebabs, burgers, breakfast foods, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, fruits and many more. A well heated griddle plate holds the juices of the item being cooked. Many people are convinced that cooking with the lid down is the proper way to barbecue but this is actually roasting. Barbecuing is to have a taste that is far different from roasting.Successful cooking comes by heating the plate well and cooking foods with a sizzle.
