MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) I recently purchased 45 Greg Bennett acoustic guitars at a closeout bargain liquidation . I acquired 28 of these Special acoustic electrics. They are all BRAND NEW ( NOS ) new old stock guitars . NOTE: This guitar has a few stress finish cracks - only on the other finish not cracked through the wood at all !1 finish crack on the top service --from just below the lower right neck down to the bridge area . Then some typical side finish cracks - again these are only on the outer surface not through the wood at all . These guitars came in with a bad preamp, so electronics were not functional. Rather than the distributors taking time to repair them they just liquidated them ! They may have scratches or finish cracks. They are all brand new in original boxes with original paperwork etc .. I am installing brand new FISHMAN electronics in them so they are like new again. These guitars originally carried a $539 min Retail price . I bought them as playable canvasses to do Custom Artwork on ! Since I got such a great deal on them I can do the artwork and sell them for less than they Retailed for !!! Affordable art guitars ! I am running out of the 70 Fender Acoustasonic Player Telecasters I purchased at a huge discount back in December and January (In fact the blue one is #70 the last one from that massive purchase) and was looking for more guitars to do my artwork on where I could again pass the savings onto my customers . These fit the bill ! Most of my designs are done without any real planning and I can get them done in 2 to 4 hours before masking them and painting the clear coats on them . In fact this one for sale was mostly done while I talked with one of my good customers on the phone !!!!!! I can also do custom ordered art graphics on them as well . Just let me know what you want and I can work out a price I have already done over 10 commissions this year on the Fenders I sell . The artwork is done with permanent ink markers and the when done I apply several coats of clear semi gloss paint over the graphics to preserve it . The finish is not 100% flat as the ink mixes with the clear coat and also the original finish under it to give it a textured look as you should be able to see in some of the photos . The artwork and clear-coats are very light and really do not have any noticeable effect on the sound at all . This guitar has a finish crack on the top from below the end off the neck to the bridge . It does not appear to be all the way though just on the top clear coat under the artwork. There is also a finish crack on the side from the electronics down and around the bottom corner . This is only on the outer laminate and not though as well .
