Description: Greek Roman Musical Woman Lyre Resin Cameo Lucite Back Gold Tone Brooch Pendant This very pretty cameo pin is preowned and is in good condition for the right person. This brooch features an off white, cream colored woman in a Greek or Roman style with olive leaves in the hair in a shiny gold tone frame. Behind the woman is a musical instrument called a lyre so it appears she is a music lover and instrument player. The background is Lucite and is an orange to coral color. The frame of the cameo has open metal and a bit of decorative texture. This brooch pendant is of a larger size and of medium to heavy weight and measures approximately 2 & 1/8" long x 1 & 3/4" wide. This pin closes with a modern rolling C clasp and the clasp, pin and hinge are working appropriately. The brooch pendant is not hallmarked. Conditional issues are surface scratching and some areas of flaking of the metal plating. This brooch pendant is vintage and from the 1980-90s and was part of a cameo collection of pins and brooches. This brooch pendant has nice craftmanship and should last for many more years to come.
